NO parabens
(Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Heptylparaben, Methylparaben, Propylparaben)
Although there is no causal link between parabens and cancer has been established (1), Parabens are becoming increasingly controversial because parabens have been found in extremely low concentrations in breast cancer tumors (an average of 20 nanograms/g of tissue). Parabens have displayed the ability to weakly mimic estrogen (a hormone known to play a role in the development of breast cancer) (2).

NO alcohol
Alcohol (Ethyl Alcohol/Ethanol/Grain Alcohol/Rye Alcohol/Alcohol Denat) is often used as a preservative in natural and organic skincare products. Regardless whether it is an organic or non-organic alcohol, alcohol can dry out and irritate the skin.
NO glycols
Propylene Glycol and Butylene Glycol are often used as moisturising and wetting agents in skincare products, however these two are chemical ingredients derived from petroleum. There are better and healthier moisturising agents such as Botanical oils, BioCollagen (from Yeast Extract), non-animal sourced Hyaluronic Acid.
NO synthetic colours/fragrances
Synthetic colours/fragrances often cause allergic-reactions.
NO silicones, mineral oils or petrochemical derivatives
(Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Tremethylsiloxysilicate, Cetearyl Dimethicone)
Silicones/Mineral oils clog pores therefore they may trigger break out. They are used in cosmetic, skincare and haircare products to prevent moisture-loss and create artificial smooth skin and hair. NO harsh detergents or SLS (Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulphate)
Sodium Lauryl Sulphate and Sodium Laureth Sulphate are harsh skin irritants.
NO animal testing
